Mission

Context & Mission Duration: Temporary 24-month job starting January 2027 through end-2028. Overall Planning: 2027 focus on micro design, build and testing phases Go-Live in May 2028 and 5 months of hypercare. BPOs remain structurally embedded in their initial teams and functionally animated by the V&P Team. Location is ideally in Lille since all the project team and the integrators will be allocated there, but other locations can be accepted depending on the availability of the candidates.

1. PURPOSES & CORE SCOPE

The role is included inside the Workday project, concretely in the last step which focuses on the switch of Board into an EPM inside Workday ecosystem(Adaptive). In this process we will not copy paste what we have currently in Board, but we will reshape the way we manage the big management control processes(piloting, trajectory and business plan) , always looking for a tool that will answer to the needs of the FP&A of the future. The BPO will have a key role in this project since he will work into writing business processes management rules together with activity relays, designing future process workflows ensuring all necessary steps and stakeholders are correctly considered in the future solution and providing the most efficient solutions using all tools available(AI, connections with Workday Finance and Workday HCM and drivers inside the tool).

Based on corporate strategies, the Business Process Owner (BPO) structures, micro-designs, and optimizes the End-to-End (E2E) business processes and data models required to implement Decathlon's new EPM solution (Adaptive). He/She also tests the new solutions to ensure their proper functioning, and participate in the change management. The BPO acts as the ultimate bridge between Business, Digital/IT, and User Experience (UX) perspectives.

  • End-to-End Process Micro-Design: Map and maintain workflows, inputs, and outputs from an integrated view (Business + IT + User).

  • Data Governance & Migration: Define the data model, local business rules, roles/permissions, and validate data conversion/migrations from legacy systems to the new solution(s) (E.g. Adaptive).

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Guarantee the functional readiness of the new solution by designing and executing the first wave of tests and organizing Key User testing phases validating also that the technical solution is matching with the functional requirements.

  • Change Management & Adoption: Drive local onboarding, training, and documentation to foster seamless global adoption. Be project champion and communicate value.

  • Accompany the Rollout of the tool: Secure the localized deployment of the EPM tool by driving hypercare support, empowering the Key User network, and monitoring process compliance to guarantee immediate business adoption post-Go-Live.

Profil

You have a strong background in corporate finance, management controlling, or financial data architecture. Previous experience in EPM tool design, multidimensional financial modeling, or system implementations is a major advantage. You are responsible, dynamic, and you enjoy working as a team. You have a strong sense of customer service, a proven analytical capacity, and you are highly proactive in driving innovative solutions. And you speak English fluently, this is very important since you will work closely with several interlocutors and the sessions will be in English!
