Mission
A TYPICAL DAY in the life of a Quality Production Leader at Decathlon:
- I go in the production line and work closely with my supplier to make sure that the production is up to our standards of quality, human safety and environmental compliance. Then I go to the sampling room to see the new eco-designed prototype I am developing with the brands in France. Developing a sustainable business with my supplier is my responsibility !
- I lead a meeting with my supplier to discuss quality issues, ways to reduce the cost and to continuously improve the efficiency of production.
- I lead a video conference with my Product Engineer from France to discuss some quality issues and the new development plannings.
YOUR MISSION:
To develop external supplier's expertise to produce quality products for Decathlon within short lead-times and low cost and low environmental impact.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You co-develop and industrialize new products with clear development planning.
• You master and optimize product costs.
• You evaluate and ensure the quality of products at your suppliers.
• You launch and pilot continuous improvement projects with your suppliers to make progress on their performance (LEAN, quality, safety, environment, toxicology) and social compliance.
• You are responsible for a regular control plan, quality and compliance audits and the corrective action plan.
• You explain and recommend changes. You make sure it is applied in the production line.

• You have a degree in engineering, specialized in production or quality management.
• Experience in a production factory is an asset.

• Place of work: Budapest (with frequent travels in Hungary and abroad)
